- Why Are Your Prices So Low?
- Are prices are low, because we know that not everyone has big pockets.
- Why Doesn't The Content Change very often on your site?
- Our number one priority is our customers. We work on the site when we have a chance, the rest of the time we are busy with help our customers.
- What are your terms of Services?
- Our terms of services are the policies that we have to keep you and the rest of our customers safe. You can view the terms of services by going to the bottom of any page on our site and clicking on the link that says Terms Of Service
- Billing
- How Do I pay my Bill?
- We accept all major credit cards such as Master Card, Visa, American Express and Discover. You can also pay using Pay Pal, Google Checkout, Check, Money Order or Cash. Keep in mind that written checks take up to five business days to process. So it is wise to pay at least five days before your bill is due.
- What way do you recomend me to pay?
- We recomend that you use Google Checkout.
- Who do I write a check out to?
- You can make the check out to Big Ben's Computers & Supplies. Remember it takes up to five business days for it to clear. So it is best to send the check at least five business days before it is due.
- What if I miss a payment?
- You have up to 10 days after the due date to make a payment. If you are unable to make a payment after the 10 days you will be charged a $5.00 late fee. If the payment hasn't been made 17 days after the due date your late fee will be an extra $5.00. Seven days after that time period you will recieve another $5.00 late fee. If your bill has not been paid for 31 days your account will be terminated. And want be reactivated until you pay untill you pay the the bill and the late fees.

- What is Web Hosting?
- Web Hosting can best be described as renting out an appartment. When you rent out an appartment you pay your landlord rent so you can live there. With web hosting your website needs to be on the web. So it needs to be on a server. We rent out a partion of our servers for your website.
- What is Storage?
- Storage is the amount of disk space that your site uses on our servers. If your site takes up alot of space you'll need more disk space.
- What is Bandwidth?
- Bandwidth is the data that is passed between the person viewing the website and the server. Sites that have alot of videos, music and pictures send alot of data back and forth to the person on the site. So it is always recomended to have more bandwidth for such sites.
- What is cPanel?
- cPanel is the brand of Control Panel we offer. It is used to help you control your service.
- What Operating System do your servers have?
- We use a modified Red Hat Linux distrobution called CentOS.
- Will my site be able to be viewed on Apple computers?
- Yes. Your site will can be viewed on anything that lets you view websites.
- Domain Names
- What are domain names?
- A domain name is a unique name that identifies your site. With out a domain name people would be able to find your site on the internet.
- What is a Name Server?
- A name server is how your domain name can find where your website is located. For example if you registered your domain name with Big Ben's Web Hosting you name servers would be ns1.bigbenshosting.com and ns2.bigbenshosting.com. You you wanted to register the domain names with Big Ben's Web Hosting and have your site hosted by another company. You would need to change the name servers to point to your website at the other hosting company.
- E-Mails
- Do you support Google Apps for E-Mail?
- Yes. In fact we even provide you with a link to log into your Google Apps account. It can be found under the Home menu.
- cPanel
- What is cPanel?
- cPanel is the brand of Control Panel we offer. It is used to help you control your service.
- Can I set up multiple cPanel Accounts for my website?
- There can only be one cPanel account per site. You can however setup multiple FTP accounts.
